Tell us what you do for a living?

We’re versatile artists who make music

Can you describe what that involves?

Making hits, writing our songs and performing them. Hopefully that will escalate into making a lot of videos and more performances. Eventually we want to give something back and do workshops for kids to help them achieve their dreams.

What do you enjoy about your job?

Everything really, performing and writing are all good. Everything has its own good thing, when you write it feels really good when we’re writing a song and we know that we will be performing it soon in front of people

Is there anything you do not enjoy?

Nah, we’re liking everything so far

Can you describe what a day in your job might be?

Well we’re still at school so we go there during the day but we always have a lyric book on us to write down ideas as soon as they come into our head. We write individually or together and when we have a tune together we will go into the studio and record it. At the weekends we’re performing and in the studio working on more tracks.

How long have you been working in this area?

Shizznitt- since I was 9
Temper- since I was 12
Merker- since I was 11

Can you tell us how you got to where you are?

Me (Shizznitt) and Tempar met through playing football in our area and then we met Merkar through his cousin ‘The Vandal’ who’s in Wolfpack ( a local music crew). We got on really well and started making tracks and performing together and then GFUK heard us and thought we were good and started working with us.

Have you learnt any new skills whilst doing this job? If yes, please tell us what they are.

Our skills have increased. We feel more confident in our writing and we have a lot more practice performing which has upped our confidence levels.

Did you come across any problems getting this job?

Not yet- we’re still new at this.

Thinking about your personal experience, what advice would you give to someone hoping to follow a similar career path?

Keep on writing and believe in what you want to do. Use equipment to your ability, it may not be the best out there but practice makes perfect and it will help you be better. Also try and perform has much as you can, it will help your confidence and make your stage presence better.

Do you have an aspiration/goal for your future career?

Just to make music, music has a message. We want everyone to listen to us and be musicians and hopefully be big. We eventually want to have a record label and bring young kids like us into the game.

How will you try and get there?

Make lots of money and then get our own company.

How long do you think it will take you?

Can’t predict the future
