The Rural Media Company

We use video photography, graphic design, websites and CD-ROMs to produce powerful, effective contemporary educational resources for use within formal and informal education. We aim to both provide opportunities for young people and to stimulate debate about the issues which affect them. Our participatory work with rural young people is particularly well known, With a strong track record spanning over a decade of activity we offer accessible training and education which enables participants to voice their own knowledge and experience of contemporary issues . These include menatl health, teenage pregnancy, bullying, discrimination, homelessness. In addition to the opportunities for young people to participate in workshops and short term projects, we offer longer-term training in youth media work for young adults.
