Capoeira MarAzul

Capoeira MarAzul is a community organisation that celebrates and preserves Afro-Brazilian culture.

Founded in 1983 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, MarAzul is has been working in London since 2005 with children and young people to help them develop their skills and talent.

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines elements of dance, martial arts, music, poetry and theatre in a flowing and acrobatic game played to the rhythm of the berimbau. It helps develop fitness, coordination, flexibility and self-expression.
