Chelmsford Young Generation

Chelmsford Young Generation Amateur Musical Society (CYGAMS) - a youth musical theatre group of ages 8 to 18 and a registered charity - stage two professionally directed shows per year. Children audition for the shows and if successful meet every Thursday evening and on Saturdays for rehearsals for about 5 months prior to opening night. Fees are low - children pay a nominal membership fee of £5 and if cast in a show, show fees of approx £30. Young-Gen also hold regular workshops with professional directors and a popular summer school.
